Description

I have a great love for the character Nexus. It was my first independent comic and it opened up a whole new world of reading for me. This page is from his second black and white comic (more magazine sized) and I remember having to look high and low in several conventions to find this issue along with issues 1 and 3.

If you are not familiar with Nexus he kills mass murderers who are often leaders of nations, planets, ect. His first victim was his own father. In this issue he is going to kill Zieffer Meird the alien in the lower right panel embracing his wife. The alien declaring the 99.99% is giving Zieffer the odds that Nexus is there to kill him and not some other mass murderer in that part of the galaxy. Four pages earlier the odds begin at 85% and it just keeps going up.

Even though Nexus is barely in this page (look in his ships front window) I bought because it made me laugh when I first read it.
