DescriptionAll New X-Men #25 (April 2014) featured amazing work from a number of great artists, but this piece by David Mack really left an impression on me. It's an incredibly powerful and very kinetic image with Cyclops being put to the torch by an angry mob. The colors of the over-sized 12” x 18” original art are even brighter and more dynamic than the more muted published work. I saw David Mack at Special Edition NYC (June 2014) and I was thrilled to find that he still had the page. With the dimensions of the piece, my scanner didn’t capture the full image, although I note that my scan shows about as much of the art as the published page.Social/Sharing |
