Description

This is the original artwork by Will Eisner of a poster he made for the U.S. Army. Eisner was the art director for the Army publication P.S. Magazine (Preventative Maintenance).
This artwork is the complete printing accompaniment (including color separation stat sheets still in registration) for the poster "Haste makes Waste." There are 9 copies of the poster known to exist. All of the original art except for a very few pieces was accidentally destroyed at a warehouse in Pennsylvania.
