Description

This year the one artist I wanted to get something from at Boston Comic Con was Carlos Pacheco. He's been one of my favorites for more than 20 years and I was crushed that I did not get the opportunity to get any art from him last year due to the April show getting cancelled.

So this year I made it a priority but even so I was pretty far down on his commission list. In the midst of running around in my duties to the convention I saw him working on it Sunday afternoon. Then I was heartbroken when I came back 20 minutes later to find him gone. Luckily Carlos was staying in town an extra night and I was able to contact him to arrange payment and pickup, which turned out to be even better because I got to grab a drink with him and talk comic art for awhile!
