Description

In 2013, Kathy, my wife, and I attended Heroes Con and she bought her first comic book, Hero Cats. Hero Cats was a self published title from a comic shop in Atlanta owned by the writer, Kyle Puttkammer. Since then, it has been picked up by Action Labs.

In this image we have most of the team: (top to bottom)

Cassiopeia - she can read human writing (she's new) [Orange and white]
Midnight - a leaper who hates criminals [black]
Rocket - fastest cat in the world [brown and tan with stripes]
Belle - telepath [light with a brown mask]
Ace - the leader [white]
Rocco - the strong-cat [big gray]

Missing is Bandit [tuxedo cat], the covert operative with a charming personality. The robot is called Robot.

In 2014, Kathy bought her first original art - the cover to Hero Cats 3.

This is a long, long way from the girl I married. That girl didn't like convertibles, country music, electronic gizmos, or comic books. You can read about her comic book aversion here. The woman to whom I am currently married looks just like the one from 36 years ago, but she drives a Miata convertible, owns lots of electronic gizmos (iPad, iPhone, iPod, camera, etc.), has country music loaded on her music players, AND she now owns comic art and has a comic pull list (Hero Cats naturally)!

Not to mention that she's beautiful and kind and I love her very much.

Congratulations on obtaining such a cool original. I hope I will be able to get something by Marcus in the near future. Hero Cats is a really fun book. And thanks for posting a link to my review.
