Description

The Twelve #1 shows the Marvel heroes of WW II storming Brandendurg gate at the end of the War -- (I'm proud to own the actual cover). If you read the series, 12 Timely heroes peel off to attack a German laboratory and the series shows what happens to them. I wanted to do a One Minute Later of this cover with the major heroes and I wanted it also to be a homage to the great Timely WW II Covers and most especially Captain America #1. Enter Joe Rubinstein, we have the Invaders - Captain America, Sub-Mariner, Human Torch plus the Whizzer, Miss America and the Patriot storming Hitler's bunker where he has Agent Axis and Master Man to protect him (so much for that poor plan). And, in the bottom, Bucky, Toro and the man who helped form the Invaders FDR -- hope you like it.

This is beautiful..I never heard of the series but based on these images I just ordered it online. Stunning original & OML pieces.
