Description

24" x 24", acrylics & oil on board. Personal piece referred to under various titles, unpublished? 1992. Ex-Frank collection. After Frazetta, Lehr was the artist that impressed me the most in the late-60's early-70's era. His eerie, futuristic covers were always eagerly snatched up off the bookshelves. I've been looking for a major piece by Lehr ever since I started collecting. This is it.

TRULY A MAJOR WORK BY A GREAT ILLUSTRATOR, MULTIPLE FACTORS ARE WORKING WELL HERE, COLOR, COMPOSITION, CONCEPT & TECHNIQUE; LEHR ALONG WITH JOHN HARRIS ARE MY FAVORITE "SCI FI" ILLUSTRATORS, CONGRATS!
