Description

Page from the first issue of this bizarre Sci-fi series created in the mid '60s by writer Max Bunker (Luciano Secchi) and Magnus (Roberto Raviola), who drew the first six issues.
Gesebel is the queen of a planet leaded by pirate-women, who enslave men and, among other things, leave them at the mercy of monstrous alien creatures in the Virgin City Arena... :)
In the bottom panel you can see Gesebel with her mute servant Mabus and the perfidious cat Pussycat.
Please note that, back then in Italy, the editorial censorship was so strict that, before the publication (and in order to be actually published without restrictions), every single page was awkwardly retouched by simulating pants and high-necked dresses, while the artist was drawing girls with bare legs and sexy necklines.
