DescriptionCount on Chaykin for an interesting tale and Mighty Love is that. A liberal defense attorney combing the streets as the avenging Iron Angel, and a tough woman cop patrols at night as Skylark dealing with the corrupt administration she works for... and when they meet sparks fly in all kinds of ways... and gets twisted as only Chaykin can do.This page is the first shot of Delaney Pope in costume as Skylark, saving a guy from some corrupt cops. Like the previous page, he is a bit upset she hasn't just killed them, and you can see him wailing on them with a billy club while they are on the ground. Nice! The art is 11 x 17 on heavy board. As with all Chaykin originals it is a combination of ink, marker, whiteout and whatever else is handy. Like Photoshop. The published version shows Skylark having "fishnet" over her face and upper body; that is not on the original and was added in production. Probably saved a lot of time with inking. Social/Sharing |
