Description

Darryl Banks is the creator (visually, at least) of my favorite character, Kyle Rayner, and one of my favorite artists in general. Nightwing is my brother's favorite character. I had purchased some of Darryl's pieces previously, but when the opportunity to commission a piece from him came about, I couldn't pass it up. Darryl was very accommodating and even used a photo I sent him from the Virginia Beach Town Center (near my home) to use as the background for the piece. Also, the reason Kyle is wearing the costume Jim Lee created after Darryl's run is because I wanted to see Darryl's take on it.

Excellent choice of artist and characters! I would have loved to see them work together at least once.
