...and speaking of "Men in the Shadows", this page features the first appearance of Ultimate Nick Fury in the Ultimate Marvel Universe. He would later appear in Mark Millar's The Ultimates (Hey, he wrote The Secret Service) and would have the visage of Samuel L. Jackson (Hey, he plays the villain in The Secret Service movie). Unfortunately, if you can believe the internet, the name of Samuel L. Jackson's character in The Secret Service: Kingsman, will be Valentine. Apparently, the name James Arnold doesn't strike fear into the heart of all mankind.
