Description

I think that many people associate Carlos Garzon closely with Al Williamson... and they should. Carlos worked with Al on Secret Agent Corrigan, then Star Wars, and through Al got this job on Flash Gordon for Western Publishing. This page comes from the story "Queen of Ice - Queen of Fire" from Flash Gordon 35 published in 1981.

Garzon channels Rayomond/Williamson in these stories. Here Flash returns to visit Fria and Ronal and takes off in a space ship during a violent snow storm.

The art is fitting of Flash at any point in his career.
