Description

All is going as planned: Dictators and oppressive regimes have been crushed, its people have been liberated, and the world is beginning to take notice. Its time for the next stage. Its one thing to take down some third-world tyrant, but if you really want to be in the big leagues, you have to take down somebody BIG. And who is the biggest dictator on the planet? Victor Von Doom.

The mission is simple: Invade Latverian, "sanction" Dr. Doom, overthrow his regime, and free the people of Latveria who, no doubt, will welcome you as liberators. You'll be the lead story on every newscast and the Order will be known the world round as the team that permanently one of the world's most dangerous men. But what if it turns out that that's easier said than done?

Using the cover of New Thunderbolts #6 as a template, the magnificent Mitch Ballard does a phenomenal job here showing the team in the grip of Doom's iron gauntlet. My thanks to Mitch for a most pleasant commission experience.

This reminds me of several of those classic team-title covers that we just don't see in this modern age. Powerful almost beyond description. Love the scale and the detail!
