DescriptionAnother great, highly-detailed battle commission from Ron Frenz. With the recent Death of Wolverine story arc, I wanted to pay homage to one of my favorite Wolverine covers of all time, which also happens to take place in a cemetery.I'll echo what I said last year; if you can get a commission from Ron, jump on it! Brilliant art from one of the best artists out there. I have five pieces from Ron and it's really not enough.

I'm going to get a commission or two from him every year for as long as I can! Thanks!

The notion of annual or regular art from Ron is very much my thinking too, Sean. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Ron, unfortunately. It's always been through Scott, his agent. My first commission was by Ron and it's still one of my favourites. Scott is a fabulous agent, always replies to emails promptly and utterly reliable, while Ron is always on time or early. That's why I have gone back to them and will continue to go back to them. Anyway, I am still jealous that you have that art and not me. It gets better each time I look at it. :)

Ron has ascended amongnst the titans at the top of the comic artist list. Excellent homage with 2 great heroes.
