A fantastic splash page by Ivan Reis. Despero in all his horror!

I was really impressed by this page upon reading the book so when it came available, I had to have it.

I really like the monstruous rendition Reis went with for Despero here. With all his vein and over -bulkiness. The fact that only his forehead’s eye is open also strengthens his alien origin and the fact that he's from a different species while looking humanoid. He doesn't need his regular eyes like we humans do :) You practically don't see the poor Firestorm in the foreground given how much Despero takes the stage. It looks like he's tearing through the page (litterally!).

And I thought it would go well with my Artkillo Reis splash as well as another Despero full splash I own ;)

I always love the reading the story of one of our members in our caf community reading a book and finding their favorite story from the book. It's a great deal. Thanks for sharing.
