I consider myself very lucky indeed to own this drawing by the Victorian illustrator Arthur Rackham. As most of you will know, his original art is highly sought after and goes for very high prices. This pen and ink drawing is from a book called Littledom's Castle and Other Stories. There is a lot in this little gem...take a look for yourself.

I'd love to have a Rackham original.... There are some available right now but beyond my reach :(... Congratulations on this beauty...

Cheers John. Yes, they are mostly out of my reach too, there's a lovely coloured peice with his famous trees and an old witch, a great, typical Rackham--- but at �12,000 I'd have to sell my whole collection and still not reach that figure. For me, this one had a few things, the spectres, a goblin, even a caricature of the his likeness. Hard to imagine this was 1901.
