Description

Another addition to my Psylocke collection.
This was originally commissioned last year as a pencil torso con sketch, but Philip didn't manage to get to it, and I'm so thankful he didn't lol.

I asked his super agent Kirk to see whether it can be upgraded to a full figure ink commision but he said Phil's schedule was pretty tight back then. In the meantime I managed to pick up a few of his 2 hr pinups while waiting for my slot :)

Fast forward to earlier this year, Phil confirmed his attendance for STGCC and told me he has a couple of surprises for me, at STGCC I received one of them, the awesome monochromatic masterpiece Emma Frost, but he couldn't find this piece which was actually left back home on the other side of the world, he didn't even know if he had lost it or not. He posted the pic on FB...I was shocked beyond everything that he upgraded it to a full blown painted piece :D

A friend of mine Alwyn managed to help me pick this up at NYCC. It's been a loooooong wait for this Psylocke, and it's so worth it. Philip is awesome artist, and an awesome person as well. I really hope to chat with him in person again soon :)

Philip is one of the nicest guys in the business. He did a beautiful job on this. Congrats and thanks for sharing

Great piece, Vincent. Bi actually have a Psylocke piece by Philip as well...he kills it on this character. Love the dark colors and the contrast against the light in her psy-blade. Congrats!
