I picked this up from Mike Grell at SacCon 12/14/14. I had never heard of the character or the artist but man did my hubby have childhood flashbacks! Mike was super relaxed and was interesting to talk to as well, I love artists who want to talk to people!

He said he had been at a Con this past summer and everyone wanted Warlord art! So, one night he went back to his hotel and drew this one up, but the very next day no one wanted Warlord anymore. He'd had it since then! Fortunately it has a good home now!
