Description

This illustration of X Battles the Beast Men appeared in "The Dream of X" by William Hope Hodgson. It was published by Donald Grant Books in 1977. "The Dream of X" is an abridged version of the 1912 science fiction novel, "The Night Land" by William Hope Hodgson. The author revised and condensed the novel, and then self-financed it's publishing in order to secure the copyright here in the United States.
