Description

A fun concept that went around tumblr some time ago was who you'd choose for an all female Justice League of 7 members.

I went a bit of a different way with mine. It's more of a Justice League of second stringers who might fill in when the other superheroes are off world or somesuch. So it's a particularly disparate group of characters to emphasize that.

While chatting with Jude DeLuca I decided some sort of chronal issue may arise bringing past and future to one another. This would pull XS from the Legion time and Green Lantern Alex Dewitt from a parallel past similar to the fake one she hailed from in the Circle of Fire mini.

I figure Tomorrow Woman being the only actual JLA member of the past (though incredibly briefly) would help bring these ladies together one by one and acts as their psychic link.

Io I chose as very few of the Amazons tend to get much attention outside of the immediate Wonder-Family. As she's the reator of the Purple Ray and Purple Cannon I would like to see her on the team as both the science and warrior member of the team. She is the only one who strictly has super strength.

Ghost Fox Killer, La Encantadora and Empress are a bit more on the magic end to different degrees (GFK a bit more so).

Tomorrow Woman's the psychic of course.

La Encantadora is the one whose loyalties may be fluid as she's only really a part of the team at her little brothers behest who wants her to be like Superman. She's also with her magics the team teleporter.

Alex as a Green Lantern is something of the swiss army knife of the team. While being from a parallel timeline also acts as the person who's a foreigner to the world in a way as details that are different always trip her up here.

Lastly you've got to have a speedster and XS fills the role splendidly while she tries to figure out exactly why she's in the past and if there's a reason she needs to stay.
