Description

A very interesting vintage Iron Man page by Sal Buscema. This page dates from an important period in the hero's history. Indeed, in this page, Tony Stark trains his friend James Rhodes in the use of the classic Iron Man armor. This is during a period in which Tony Stark had given up his role as Iron Man to deal with his personal issues and he can be seen in the fourth panel training Rhodes while wearing an older, gray Iron Man suit similar to the very first version from Tales of Suspense #39. Tony Stark passing the mantle of Iron Man on Rhodes was a major plot point in this period of the run and a subject dealt with in the second and third Iron Man films.

This art has an image area of approximately 10" x 15".
