Mice Templar 6 cover by Skottie Young

This is the variant cover to issue 6 of the fourth Mice Templar volume: Legend.

This one has a bit of story. It was published on Skottie¡¦s blog as one of his pinups/homage. Those get sold within seconds.

It later popped on ebay for close to 150 or 200% of Skottie¡¦s orginal asking price. It got listed and relisted till I snatched it at a bit of a lower price than that.
In the meantime, it had been used as the cover to the comic (see second and third pictures) resulting in me buying probably the cheapest Skottie Young cover ever (if you know his prices, you know what I¡¦m talking about).

I really like Skottie¡¦s own interpretation of the Oeming/Santos serie here. He managed to make the mouse quite menacing which is not an easy feat. The rain and painted piece of wood (or rock) also add to the mood. And Lastly, this is a nice departure from all the super hero babies covers he¡¦s been doing for years now. I mean I like them but after 300, it gets a bit stale.
