OOOHHHH Baby! I love this. Have you ever had a page that you just "got." There are many of my pages that I love but few that were so obvious in their mastery of the form you can't miss it.

I'm such a nerd that I decided to do a mini flow diagram of the story telling. Greg Theakston did a similar thing in the intro of a Pure Imagination Alex Toth collection so I decided to try my hand at it.

The top tier is a slow zoom out which leads to a pan of the location.
The a closeup of Leiko with text which leads you to the villain. Notice, both are same size! And of course, the kung fu pose leading you off the page.

SQQQUUUEEEEEAAAAALLLLLLL. I get excited just talking about it.

It's one of the additional images, so let me know if I got it right.

UPDATE: I included the published page in Italian just for fun.

This page really does have a nice flow to it. Also, while the wrong inker could turn Gulacy's art into something simply ordinary, Adkins is a good match and helps make this the extraordinary art that it is.

I know how GOOD this page is, but she's yours! This page is just about perfect. No one inks Gulacy better than Dan Adkins. Big congrats Lee!

Wow... great page from a great series! The cinematography here is masterful... Moench and Gulacy were razor sharp at this point on MOKF!
