Description

Original pencil and ink art on artboard, measuring approx. 11" by 16" with IMAGE SIZE approx 10.5" x 15", MARVEL Comics in 1982.

PENCILED by the JOHN ROMITA JR. and Inked by JOHN ROMITA SR.

Features the FIRST APPEARANCE of Monica Rambeau, a new hero taking up the moniker Captain Marvel. An important addition to Marvel's stable of heroes, the character would go on to become an active member of the Avengers and eventually, the team leader. She now goes by SPECTRUM.

This is the climactic part of the entire comic. Features IRON MAN (using his REPULSOR RAYS to save the day), CAPTAIN MARVEL, SPIDER-MAN and WASP. Also includes the THING in the last panel, getting out of a cab.

Art is clean, great condition with no paste-ups.
