Description

Todd Nauck started doing post it note "sketches" and a few months ago he did a Gamora. I love how he rendered the gold around Gamora's eyes so I figured I would have Todd do another rendition. Was playing around with the idea of doing an Art Jam so I had Todd kick off the Hipster Guardians of the Galaxy since he did an amazing job with my previous Hipster request.

When he unveiled to me a full figure Gamora I almost fainted. Just a lovely winter coat in contrast to Gold and Green and a big honking sword! I ferried the board off to Nick and Danica who were both lovely. They let me stand at their table and answered all my stupid questions while I watched them work on commissions. I love the colors Karibu chose and in her own words, "Angela is so hipster she has a patch with her name on it". All three artists went above and beyond, I'm very humbled that they put so much work into it.

I'm torn between retiring the piece as is to prevent more damage to it and hauling it around to shows to get the rest of the Guardians.

This is a lot of fun. I'm interested to see what Hipster Nebula looks like, her baldness definitely lends itself to a certain hipster look./
