Page 40 for “Edmund Bell”: L’ombre noire (1990) by René Follet. Huge size of the page and unbelieveable artwork!

wikipedia does write about René Follet: "the 'most famous unknown' great master of the 9th art". He made several albums for example: Bob Morane, Valhardi, Steve Severin, Edmund Bell, Icar, Terreur and in collaboration with William Vance: Bruno Brazil and Marshall Blueberry.

At the beginning of his career, he was asked by Edgar Pierre Jacobs to help him draw Blake and Mortimer, but Follet refused because Jacobs didn't want Follet's name to included in the credits. Follet started working for the two main Franco-Belgian comics magazines of that time, Tintin and Spirou, like Jean Graton, Hermann and other great artists.
