Description

So there was a signing at the then new "Virgin Megastore" at Union Square in NYC for the new " Sandman- Dream Hunter" book and I'd been in line waiting to get my artbooks signed by " AMANO ".A DC comics bigwig sees me and waves me over..and Neil Gaiman said hello..and then " AMANO " did these beautiful sketches in my books..too cool-full of energy & power in the most quiet & respectful way..not since meeting " Moebius " had I met an artist so centered-beautiful...I guess I should have bought a copy of 'Dream Hunter", but at that point I thought the crowd was going to kill me for jumping the line...which must have been atleast 3-4 hours long at that point.
