DescriptionAnother powerful piece by Ryan Pasibe. He did a fantastic job reworking an already striking, Black Panther cover. Sadly,Mentalla once more overestimated her abilities and there was nothing that Moondragon & Saturn Girl could do to save her. She has fallen at the hands of Dormammu. The Legion were brought here to this "Worlds Collide" event by the Time Trapper, so while they mourn..the Trapper rages. Mentalla was part of his plans and Dormammu will pay for this assault.Russ did another fine job. The blurb is a throwback to the days when comic book stories were seeded with geographical,scientific or historical facts. So, who says Latin is a dead language ? Rest In Peace Mentalla but alive or dead, The Time Trapper does not let go easily Enjoy Aidan After this was up for a few days..Russ offered to redo the cover by adding red and make it more visually similar to the Black Panther cover which inspired it..it looks amazing. Very emotional cover. Ryan did another fine job on the art here! All new to me since I don't recall the Black Panther cover! Nice!

Nice!Thank you..most times the storyline & plot dictates the choice of cover but every so often, a cover come across my path, that screams "Re-Legion" and in this case , the cover very much shaped the story.

One of the best things about your commissions is how they remind me of these covers and comics from the past that I haven't thought of in years. I love Priest's run on Black Panther and now I'm sitting here thinking about it. And of course Ryan's homage to that cover here is just awesome. I especially like that the Legion symbol is painted on the wall behind Mentalla (with her blood?).

Your Legion commissions have taken these characters above and beyond anything DC has come up with in decades.

Ryan is a very interesting artist and one to watch. I believe this is th second commission he has done for you and his inks in both are outstanding. I think he might be a very interesting choice for a Dr. Mid-Nite or Hourman related commission.
As for the commission itself as Rod Stewart once sang, "every picture tells a story...and this one certainly does!
