Unfortunately I got nothin'. Took a look through the 1982/1983 TSR adventure modules and the Dragon Mags from those two years. While researching I also kept in mind it may also depict a Bullywug or Troglodyte (vs a Lizardman). It doesn't look to me like O'Connell did much for TSR during those years, and I see he was definitely doing things for other companies besides TSR at that time (Thieve's World, etc). If this came to you from somebody who thought it was published by TSR it would be interesting to know if that was a best guess or what the story is... I'm not discounting the possibility it was published by TSR but I've given up - it will be interesting to see if somebody else knows.

Thanks for the research Scruffy! It was sold with a bunch of other TSR items but I suspect it was a best-guess identification. Definitely gaming art from that period though.
