Love rain scenes. Especially with artists who can pull them off. Great splash, congrats!

Fantastic page from a fantastic story! And the word balloon placement shows how, when done well, words and pictures work together to make each other more impactful.

JrJr and Williamson, like Kirby and Sinnott and Colan and Palmer, are just such a powerful pair! And cool weather, too.

I too am a sucker for rain scenes, and they really don't get any better than this one! Killer details on the buildings too! I also prefer Matt standing tall, with his jacket billowing, to a Daredevil image in the same pose... just a wonderful piece! Congrats, and thanks for sharing

It's so rare for storytelling to be so good that you forget you're looking at lines on paper and fall deeply into the narrative. John Romita jr. deserves so much credit for the quality of this book. Al Williamson's inks are a joy to behold. Al reinvented his style as an inker while working with JR/JR. I think DD the man without fear is one of the greatest comic book stories of the last 30 years and this A truly iconic image within the context of the story and the mythology of Daredevil.

HOLY COW! My favorite image from my favorite DD story. Perfect in it's simplicity at conveying such a pivotal moment. Wow...just awesome. Let me know if you'd ever be interested in parting with it. Sincere congrats!

I had this page at home for a couple of weeks, loooong ago, for a show. One of the only pages I'd be willing to trade several pages for (including my MwF page) If you are interested...

It's a splash that allows one of the better art teams of its era to shine artistically, but it also served its story well. Further, Williamson's ability to match and enhance other artists' styles rather than impose his style on theirs is just another reason the man deserves his legendary status.
