DescriptionAlias was the first comic series that ever made me write a letter to the creators. I had to tell Brian Michael Bendis that Jessica Jones was the most believable female protagonist I had ever read in the pages of a comic book. That was 15 years ago. Although female protagonists have become more believable in many comics since then, I believe this series paved the way and inspired many creators to take more risks by giving their female characters actual human flaws instead of just big breasts and guns.
