Description
This Guardians of the Galaxy cover by Nick Bradshaw from issue 21 is easily one of my favorite pieces of art. Nick's attention to detail is phenomenal. Nick mentioned to me a few times this is one of his favourite covers he's done and had a blast doing it. Wish I had of scannes it before framing. Maybe one day I'll take it out so everyone can see the incredible details. It's drawn on 11" x 17" Marvel comic art board.

This cover features Star-Lord, Groot, Rocket Racoon, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Agent Venom & Captain Marvel heading to the Planet of the Symbiotes! This issue is the first appearance of Venom Groot, 1st time Agent Venom (Flash Thompson) joins the team and an early appearance of Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel. Carol's first appearance was 2 years earlier in Avenging Spider-man.

Part of a three issue arc that tells the origin of the Venom symbiote and the planet it comes from. The Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon borrowed the idea from this story arc of the team visiting Planet Symbiote.

Not long after this cover Bradshaw got to do Spidey and Venomverse covers for Marvel. I'm sure this amazing symbiote filled cover helped get him the work!

Aw man the intricacy involved in this piece is off the charts! You've got the team up top, which is awesome, but I love the fact you have to really LOOK at the lower half of the piece to make everything out. Symbiotes galore! Congrats!

WOW!  What an eye-popping FEAST of a treasure!  The bottom half of this beauty is so packed, I bet it vibrates when you pick it up and hold it...  Be sure to set it down gently; jarring it too much will probably cause all those packed-up symbiotes to explode out of the borders and spill all over the floor... :)

Lol, thanks Jason! I've tried counting the symbiotes a few times but always get lost! Have it hanging up in my basement jam room. It's a bit of a music memorabilia/ comic art gallery down there!

Wicked cool.  A VERY fitting spot for a superb Guardians of the Galaxy cover to end up (he says, resisting the temptation to make some sort of lame "cover band" dad-joke... :) )
