Description

Phil Noto is my favorite artist out there. In a rare West Coast appearance I was able to talk with Phil about his process and tell him how much I love his style. I am extremely lucky that I was able to get on his list during Wondercon 2015.

Ended up asking for Jubilee as Noto already had an X23 on his list. Phil went ahead and reprised his Jubilee from Curse of the Mutants which is one of my favorite books of all time (in no small part to Phil's art). He really nailed the expression and simple smile. Love how he made the clothing feel textured and his background. It is a piece I am extremely grateful to have.

Phil is very courteous and allowed me to hang around his table (for far too long) and answered my nonstop questions. One of the nicest artists I've ever met!
