Another obscure villain whom I have never actually owned a comic about.

Speed Demon is interesting in that he's one of a minute number of evil speedsters who is not a "Reverse" Flash, like the Rival, Zoom I and II, or Inertia. And as best to my knowledge, he's not connected to the Speed Force either.

Speed Demon was one of the first new villains of Wally West's tenure as the Flash, a researcher who experimented on himself and developed powers similar to the Flash, but at the cost of his sanity and his physical health. I believe, after several operations, he was back to normal, but he briefly showed up in one of DC's annual events back in costume.

I mostly found out about this guy because of his connection to Tina McGee, the scientist from the first Flash TV series in the 90s. That show, well, to be honest the pilot movie, is pretty much the only thing with Barry Allen I can enjoy that hasn't been tainted by Flashpoint.
