DescriptionI love this drawing not only for its stylish grace, but because it seems directly inspired by some corner of my city, Bologna, whose downtown is covered by arcades for almost 40 kilometres (25 miles). So that the arcades ("portici" in Italian language) aren’t just an architectural element, but they represent the essence itself of the city, along with the medieval towers.Just type "Arcades of Bologna" on Google images to get an idea of what I mean :) As regard the artist, this late master (Alassio, 1931 - Milano, 2008) is widely considered as one of the best Italian illustrators.
