What a great splash, it really captures the intensity of the battle scene. That little flash at the right side of the goggles and the white out slashed across the title......wow!

Jack Davis was brilliant...as evidenced by this stunning piece of art!

The blacks, the negative space, the bi-planes, the emotional intensity, the cross-hatching -- this one fires on all pistons!

Lot of heart and soul went into that first panel. Nice, compact storytelling, too. Another distinguished feather in your collection cap.

Davis is my favorite of the EC artists and I too couldn't stop staring at this piece--congrats and much jealousy!

Not only is this really good, but it's such a treat to discover a page I've never seen before.

An absolutely wonderful page! I don't have much nostalgic connection to Jack Davis, but I really want to own a great example such as this. Congrats!!!

Have to agree with with Chris about Jack's brilliance. His style is unmistakable and it floors me how he was able to mix realism with his cartoonist's style. His heavy brush work on the finishes is superb, as always. Truly one of the greats of the medium. A beautiful page and I just love the content. Big congrats!
