Description
Here we have a very fun collection of pages from 1986’s Top Dog #10, featuring an extremely rare collaboration between Warren Kremer (co-creator of Richie Rich) and the legendary “Jazzy” John Romita…two comic book titans in one issue!

Top Dog was one of the original titles launched in Marvel's Star Comics line, created by Kremer and writer Lennie Herman. Issue #10 features a special guest appearance by The Amazing Spider-Man. In the end, it actually turns out to be an actor dressed as the wall-crawler, but Peter Parker does make an appearance on the issue's last page, which sadly, I don’t own. When I purchased these pages I was led to believe that Romita not only penciled Spidey, but also the some of the other adults in the issue. I asked Mr. Romita about this and according to him, he only drew Spider-Man. So unfortunately, out of the 15 pages that I own, it seems that Romita only collaborated on three of them, but this is still a fun bit of comic history.

I own 15 pages out of only 24 (including the cover). If anyone comes across the others, please let me know. I figure I already have this many, I might as well try to get the complete book!

Interesting, Kremer and Romita on the same page, never would have guess that ever happened. Glad you put up enough of them so I don't need to seek out the issue. Question: Why is colorist listed when it's uncolored original art and not a color guide or the actual comic?
