Robert Crumb KAFKA for beginners

so yes... i was hoping one of these r. crumb pages would fall through the cracks...

initially, these began to sell for way out of my range, but this recent batch included a page i had no way to say no to... partially because it was within my budget, but more so, that there in all its magnificence was robert crumb and kafka on the same page... and they were not only images drawn by the master of the underground, but also a page of creepy surrealism regarding a series of safety mechanisms that kafka (yes, the writer) devised to lessen the number of injuries in the factory...

what is spectacular for me is not only that two of my idols are shining on a single page, but also two entirely different articulations of hands missing fingers - with both kafka's drawings, and the inks and pencils of crumb... so for me, this is a seriously potent piece of paper... and yeah, crumb's portrait of kafka from the back is wonderful.
