Description

Steve Rude opened his commission list for portraits and I jumped on the chance. I was due for another Rude piece and I had a couple ideas left after the Leeja Clane in 2011. When exchanging emails with Steve's wife Jaynelle, I proposed either Honey Dorian from Alex Raymond's Rip Kirby comic strip or singer/actress Andrea Corr as subjects. Jaynelle wrote Steve would like to do both and this is one result. It was supposed to be a portrait, but Steve drew a full figure piece. Steve then drew this portrait version. I have the full figure so this is rather superfluous. The drawing is on 14" x 11" paper. I'm open to sale or trade proposals on this one.
