I asked The Dude to take a run at one of my favorite 70's DC heroines; Black Orchid. I discovered her in the back of a Spectre comic and thought she was kinda "groovy". I sent The Dude some of the old splash pages of her over a city at night and some shots of her from Alan Davis' 2nd issue of Another Nail for inspiration and here is what he sent back to me. The Dude even added color saying that the finshed black and white sketch "needed color".
