Description

This was my second commission from Gene. I had come up with the idea of a commission with a wounded Elektra, moments before Bullseye famously kills her. Bullseye's presence is shown as a cast shadow, with the sai ready to finish the job. Unlike most people, I actually really like the Daredevil movie and I included a little homage to it by having Elektra's hand impaled by her own sai as in the film. I particularly like how the front and back covers can stand alone as individual pieces of art (as they'll be seen once the comic has been slabbed) but work even better as a single image.

From my very crude mock-up, Gene created this fabulous piece of art. I'll definitely be getting more art from him in the future, as soon as I have a good idea to feed him!
