Description

This is a daily from late in the Shadow of Suspicion story, a tale about the end of Carol's engagement to Mike Fletcher and his involvement with Sue Lomas. This art features a stunning nocturnal water scene with Mike and Sue in the third panel. There is a rare blue pencil portrait of Carol in the first panel and a portrait of Mike in the center one. The lighting and water effects at the concluding panel are something else--pure prime Wright. And the model for Sue Lomas was David Wright's daughter-in-law. As with all Carol Days, this art is drawn on illustration board. Both the image and board are in excellent condition. There is some white out use on the piece, most of it in word balloons and panel borders.
