The Question by Dick Giordano

Dick Giordano is a great artist and inker, and I have a world of respect for his work. I'm always glad to see him out at the conventions, even if he is a little hard of hearing.
When Giordano and Bob Layton were advertising their L.A.W. book at HeroesCon99, I went to them both about drawing the Question. I hit up Dick first, and asked him to draw the Question.

"I only draw Bat-Man heads," he said. I was disappointed, but hey, a Bat-Man head wouldn't be bad.

"Dick, he said the Question, it's a guy with no face," said Layton.

"No question about it," said Dick, "He's getting a Bat-Man head."

Thankfully, the miscommunications were turned into communications and I got the sketch I wanted.
