The Secret Squadron (Rich BUCKLER)

I've always loved obscure Marvel characters from the 70s-80s.
When I was younger, I played with the idea of a fictitious series featuring a team of Marvel second-string superheroes.
What if Stark Industries, Gamma Base and S.HI.E.L.D. agree to collaborate and create a secret team of super-powered agents with core members Guardsman, Doc Samson and Huntress (the future Mockingbird, whose only appearance was in the one-shot black-and-white magazine Marvel Super Action #1)?
The series would have been a mix of "Marvel Team-Up" and "Mission: Impossible", starring the three permanent characters listed below plus a new super hero each month, whose powers or abilities were adapted to the mission (for instance Stingray for undersea action, Brother Voodoo when magic's involved, and so on ...).
I kept the idea somewhere in my mind until i was able to ask Rich Buckler to re-imagine his own iconic cover of All-Star Squadron #1.
So here the fantastic first issue of the Secret Squadron!
