DescriptionSo I was all done buying art for the year and content to end with my Dark Knight painting from Nick Runge when a trade opportunity was presented to me and I couldn't pass it up. I have been wanting a nice cover painting by Simone for a while but they are pretty much well out of my budget range, without selling a bunch of stuff to raise the funds. In this case, I was offered this piece straight across for a piece of mine and it was too good of a deal for me to pass on. So while I did lose something really nice (a BWS page) I got something really nice in return. This particular cover is the first and only one Simone did that features Thor and his entire family including Angela, his new sister that he never knew existed. I love the image of Odin begging her for his son's lives, with Thor and Loki hanging in the background. It is an epic cover and a great piece to end the year with. This should be my final piece of art for 2015 but as I learned, you never really know. :) Big thanks to Luca for another successful trade! (I actually got my first Bianchi piece ever by him in a previous trade a couple years ago, as a matter of fact) Thanks again, buddy!The art itself is original pencils, inks, and acrylics on thicker art board and measures 14"x19". I'm surprised I missed you posting this. I hear ya on the challenge budgeting a Bianchi cover. A goal of mine I've all but given up. This would be one I'd love to have. The best of colors, poses and characters.

Occasionally I stop by to remind myself of opportunities lost and compromises agreed to (not with thee) that have kept me from the art I love. Nevermore. See, even a raven reference to stay on topic. :) Still just a killer pallette, energy and drama.
