DescriptionA super rare original sketch of Luke Skywalker in Dark Empire mode by Cam Kennedy who drew the serie.Drawn in pure pencil on a page from the French edition of the book (about 23 cm by 32cm). It features a full figure of Luke with his light saber. It dates back to 1996, the release date of the serie. Original art from Dark Empire is super hard to come by. Cam Kennedy has rarely sold any page or cover from that cult serie. Convention sketches are super rare as he has rarely appeared to a convention in the US (I know of his appearance in San Diego the year of Dark Empire's release but that's about it). Nowadays, Mr Kennedy rarely appears in convention even in Europe and does not sketch anymore due to his eyes having weakened. He was never too fond to sketch Star Wars material to begin with for reasons that are his own. Social/Sharing |
