Description

This, might not fit the definition of a Grail Page to some users, but, to me this is a grail. Not,only is it a Curt Swan drawn page but, it's takes me back to a better time and place by just looking at it. This, is from the first Aquaman book that I ever read as, a child. Ironically it was during the family vacation to Maine to go camping at Sebago Lake and to see the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Elizabeth and the Portland Head Lighthouse.

In previous years My, Father took the family out to Windham Maine to get some groceries where, we stumbled upon something called a Comic Book store named Casablanca Comics. Where, we were from we did not have Comic Book store's and I never knew that they existed at the time.But, It's a place we went to every year after finding it when we, went on summer vacation and the store opened up a whole new world to me and I have to thank my Father and Mother for supporting that joy I had from comics. It's been two years sense my Father died and I wish I could go back everyday to the way things were.He, was too young and did not really even get to enjoy his retirement and their was so, much he wanted to do and events to experience.

But, most of all he looked forward to was going to Maine with, his family every year.Things will never be the same for me but, I have to keep going forward I owe him that and for everything else he did because I would not be who I am without my parents and I was very lucky to have them.. The rest of my family still goes back up to Maine and Casablanca comics is still there. So, if anyone goes to the Portland area or the Windham area stop in because, they are amazing people and go above and beyond for customers and Thanks dad for everything.
