Description

A real beauty from Kaluta's prime period, when he was working with Wrightson, Jones, and Smith as a member of "The Studio." This is the Illustration Index from The Swords of Shahrazar, published in 1976. Several illustrations from Shahrazar are featured in the well known "Studio" book (published in 1979). The art is actually two separate mirror image pieces, drawn separately, and features all the fantasy and beautiful line work for which Kaluta is known. A friend got this straight from Kaluta many years ago, and was good enough to pass it on to me.
