A vintage cover by the incredible Adam Hughes. How cool is that?

I realize that this likely not the most desirable JLA cover ever but it�s Adam Hughes and I got it for a steal!

I LOVED the Dematteis & Giffen run with Maguire and Hughes (and a ton of great fill in artists) so I was delighted to find this one.

The design is simple but quite striking. You see this cover on the rack and you�re at the very least intrigued and would want to pick it up and discover why Ice and her pals and stranded on ice in the middle of the ocean. So the �grab the reader�s attention job� is done ;)

I�ve included a second pic with the overlay on (for the ocean�s waves) and a third for the published cover.

This is part 7 of my 2016 CAF b-day party :)

Terrific! I actually got this cover signed by Adam many, many years ago. I love the use of negative space. Great pickup. If you ever decide to sell (and I totally understand if you don't) please hit me up!

One of my favorite issues from this series, in part due to this very memorable cover.
