DescriptionYeah, you read that right. I don't recall what prompted me to take a photograph of my mother posed like she was eating issue #1 of CRAZY, but it likely had to do with trying to get something published in the magazine. If you recall, the early issues of CRAZY had fumetti features, which may have been the inspiration. I also seem to recall that a very early issue of MAD (the comic book) had an advertisement where they touted the fact that it was much better tasting than the competition. Whatever the reason, my mother was a good sport about it. She was always very supportive of my hobbies, including collecting comics. I don't know the exact date of the photo, but it is circa 1973.Social/Sharing |
